The Career Closet
For Teens
Career Closet provides free, interview-appropriate business attire and basic professional readiness support to young people ages 15–21, in the Gig Harbor & Key Peninsula areas, who are entering the workforce and don’t have access to the clothing or resources needed.
Supplying professional clothing for first and early jobs creates opportunities for economic mobility by making sure everyone is able to present in professional attire.

Donate
Where to drop off Donations:
Donations are accepted Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm at the Neighborhood Experts Real Estate office located at 5356 Olympic Drive Suite B in Gig Harbor
Monetary donations are always welcome. They provide us with flexibility to fill the gaps in our donated items or obtain sizes that are not as frequently donated.
What we accept: All adult sizes
blazers/sport coats
dress pants
skirts (modest/work appropriate)
button-down shirts
blouses
knit tops (work appropriate)
belts, ties
closed-toe shoes
simple dresses
outerwear for commuting
sweaters
Note: We do not accept, ripped or torn shoes, clothing with stains, casual t-shirts, formal attire/gowns, very trendy pieces with short life cycle
Volunteer
At a Pop-Up Shop
Two times a year we host pop up events for each local High School, volunteers help with set up, styling & support for shoppers and clean up. We’d love your help!
Sort & iron donations
We host two large donation drives per year. When those take place we need to sort and prep the clothing for the pop up shops that will follow. Clean, crisp clothes bring confidence to our clients.

Twice a year, we will have pop-up shops at Peninsula, Gig Harbor, and Henderson Bay high schools where you can come and pick out some business clothing for your interviews or jobs!
